Open Talk: Rise Up, Speak Out
In 2018, Korean society is experiencing the waves for changes led by women who rise up against misogyny, discrimination, and sexual violence. Likewise, Arab women have been making their voices heard in the fight against oppression and tyranny as well as taking the initiative to change the society, which will be addressed in our special section called “Rise Up, Speak Out”. The 7th ARAB Film Festival will offer you a meaningful opportunity to meet in person Kaouther Ben Hania who has been on the frontline of such movement and to have an in-depth discussion on women who dare to rise up and speak out.
